About Me

Stephanie Welder founded Access College and Career Consultants, LLC after a long career as a substitute teacher left her frustrated at never seeing the outcomes of the lessons she taught. Watching an educational consultant dramatically help her own children — teaching her how to simplify, clarify, and de-stress the college process — convinced her it was time to pivot her career, building on her counseling degree and years of experience working with high school students.

Stephanie noticed a striking parallel between college admissions and job searching — research, materials preparation, interview skills, evaluating offers — and now also helps graduating students and adults navigate career transitions, staying current on hiring trends so her clients can become confident, independent job seekers. Her clients come from all walks of life but share a common goal: finding an academic environment where their children can thrive socially, intellectually, and financially.
