A Harvard and Georgetown Law grad, Orietta draws on her own experience as a first-generation college student to guide families from diverse backgrounds through admissions.

About Me

Orietta Barletta graduated with honors from Harvard College, went on to earn her M.Ed. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She completed her Certificate in College Counseling with distinction from UCLA and the College Advising Program at Teachers College, Columbia, and is trained in the WOW essay-writing methodology as well as MBTI certified.

Before founding Barletta Education, Orietta served as Assistant Director of Career Services at Harvard Law School and Director of Career Services at Stanford Law School, and taught Legal Research and Writing at Georgetown and Golden Gate University Law School. Born and raised in Boston and a graduate of Boston Latin School, Orietta was a first-generation college student in a household where English wasn't the primary language — an experience that shapes her deep appreciation for the challenges students from diverse backgrounds face. She's a member of both HECA and IECA.
