About Me

Amy Coffsky is a native Atlantan and has embraced her passion as an educator her entire life. She is an Independent Educational Consultant and earned her certificate through the University of California Irvine, leveraging her 15 years of classroom teaching in both public and private school settings. She is also an associate member of the IECA (Independent Educational Consulting Association). Amy received a Bachelor of Science in Education from Syracuse University with a minor in English. She was named Teacher of the Year, President of the School Improvement Team, mentored numerous clubs, represented her grade levels as chair, and accepted responsibility for several educational leadership roles. Additionally, she has participated in over forty-five hours of professional educational development courses. Amy has over ten years of private tutoring experience and has always loved working with students and parents. She also embraces technology, as evidenced by the original content and ideas she provided as an educational consultant for a computer-based education program.

Additionally, Amy spent three years leading a College Workshop Series Program aimed at high-achieving high school students to specifically help them through the college planning and application process. She has devoted countless hours in roles as the VP of Hospitality, Booster Membership Chair, and head of the Senior Activities Committee while volunteering at North Springs Charter High School. Amy has two boys of her own and recently utilized her skills and experience to guide them in the college search and application process firsthand.
