About Me
Dr. Shiti Malhotra earned her PhD in Theoretical Linguistics from University of Maryland, with specialization in Syntax and minor in Psycholinguistics. In her doctoral thesis, she reviewed how human mind processes complexities of the verb structure; how it handles the grammatical features of the verbs and how the complexity affects the overall sentence structure. Dr. Malhotra has published her research in various peer-review journals and has also presented at various International conferences. Alongside, she has also served as a reviewer at well-established journals, in addition to working as an Editor at multiple publications.
Dr. Malhotra is currently teaching Linguistics at Sant Mary’s University- Nova Scotia. She has moved to Canada recently after working at Northeastern University-Boston for over a decade.
