About Me

She was an educator in the Newburyport Public schools for over 35 years, most recently as principal of the Francis T. Bresnahan School, grades 1-3. She fulfilled many other roles at the elementary, middle, and district level including classroom and special education teacher, Curriculum and Special Education Coordinator, and Director of Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment. Kristina received her BS in Elementary Education and Special Education as well as a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the then Lesley College in Cambridge, MA, known as Lesley University today.
Since retirement in 2019, Kristina has explored opportunities where she can apply her skills and talents in areas related to education, yet with a different focus. She provides Seabrook Station emergency response training, through Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, to public and private schools, agencies, and programs and just recently became a Merrimack College Practicum Supervisor for graduate level teacher candidates. Additionally, she is eagerly joining Peak College Consulting as a Client Experience Manager. She has become the face of Peak as she conducts the initial free consultation with prospective clients and builds upon her experience and training to become an educational consultant for high school students in the area. Kristina is looking forward to serving new clients, including former Bresnahan School students, as they prepare to embark on a new journey through their college experience.
