About Me

The college application process is constantly changing and certainly not the same as when I applied to college 30+ years ago. I work side by side with high school students and their parents throughout out high school. While many public state colleges have minimum standards and fairly straightforward applications, there are also many degree programs, scholarship programs, as well colleges and universities with more complex competitive applications and wholistic review processes. This can be a maze and frustrating for parents.

I have over 20 years experience working with students who have the talent and motivation to complete the work necessary to go through the process via the public schools in Las Cruces, NM and Rio Rancho, NM. Upon my retirement from teaching at Las Cruces High School in 2019, I realized I missed interacting with these energetic, motivated students. So I slowly built up my business and jumped in full force this past year.

I meet both in person and via Zoom. One thing I can say for the pandemic is that I learned that engaging with students and families from out of town is as easy as working with locals.
