Rebecca first began developing her coaching and advising skills as a student at Harvard College where she was selected to guide dozens of incoming college freshmen through the challenges, concerns, and anxieties of their first year. She helped them confidently strive for success and happiness—an approach she brings to her students today.
After graduating from Harvard with a degree in Human Evolutionary Biology and Mandarin Chinese, Rebecca spent six years living in Beijing, China working in the educational travel industry. While there, she spent five years supporting Harvard College Admissions by conducting alumni interviews, and also served as a pre-selection interviewer for Chinese applicants to the prestigious Rhodes Scholarship at Oxford University.
Throughout her experiences, she has developed strong relationships with representatives from top-tier universities and since 2017 has supported students—and their parents—from around the world through the college search and application process. Her specialities include Ivy League Admissions, Liberal Arts Admissions, and International Applicants.
Rebecca returned to the United States in 2019, and was certified as a professional coach in 2020 from the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (IPEC), an organization accredited by the International Coaching Federation. She is also part of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA).
Rebecca currently resides in Washington, DC with her husband, and son.
