About Me

For sixteen years, Sandra has been helping students from her home country, Trinidad and Tobago, achieve their goals of going to university in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. She works with students in the process of self-discovery to help them build a customized list of universities from the thousands of options available, and coaches them through all the moving parts of their applications. She brings her excitement for helping young people thrive, along with her goal-oriented nature, into her every interaction with students and parents.

Sandra is a learning enthusiast and invests a great deal of time researching and visiting universities, talking to admissions counselors, and taking courses to continuously renew her knowledge. She is a professional member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the International Association for College Admissions Counseling (IACAC). Her college counseling certificate with distinction from UCLA, certification in positive psychology at the University of Pennsylvania (in process), applied psychology and life and career coaching certificates, and bachelor’s degree in business all combine to provide her with the skills to help students believe in themselves, set challenging yet attainable goals, reach their potential, and ultimately find their way to their best-fit universities.
