After completing her Certificate in College Counseling from UCLA, Amanda founded Brick Red Educational Consulting to bring her passions for education, storytelling and coaching to helping students achieve their college dreams.

About Me

Amanda had a 25+ year career in Marketing at companies like Learning Resources, Crate & Barrel, Discover, Orbitz and Disney leading many branding and advertising campaigns and programs.

Amanda also worked in admissions at Northwestern University- reading thousands of undergrad application files- gaining firsthand experience and expertise. In addition, she interned in the College Counseling office at Notre Dame College Prep in Niles, IL.

Amanda is native of Cleveland, OH, holds an B.S in Finance from Miami University, Oxford, OH and an MBA from DePaul University. She lives on the North Shore with her husband and two children.

Amanda is a professional member of NACAC and IECA.
