Arriving in the U.S. alone at 16, Lixin went on to become a Babson graduation speaker and Johns Hopkins program speaker, bringing that cross-cultural journey into her work with students.

About Me

Lixin Du's path into education has spanned continents and roles: from arriving in the U.S. alone at 16 to attend Fairmont Preparatory Academy, to studying Finance and Entrepreneurship at Babson College — where she served as Co-President of the Babson China Impact Organization and was selected as the 2021 Baccalaureate Speaker — to completing Johns Hopkins University's International Teaching and Global Leadership Cohort, where she was chosen as the 2022 graduation speaker.

Along the way, Lixin founded the Youth Creativity Lab, worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Johns Hopkins' School of Education, taught at the Homewood Early Learning Center, and contributed to organizations including The Admissions Authority, Bilin Academy, One Sky Education, and Ayco. That range of experience — as both a student navigating a new country and an educator supporting others — shapes how she approaches her work today.
