bio

Meri was born in Armenia and immigrated to the United States at the age of six. She attended North Hollywood High School, where she studied alongside exceptionally talented students who went on to attend top-ten schools in the nation. Through this experience, Meri gained first-hand insight into the strategies and efforts that helped these students gain admission to prestigious institutions like Harvard, MIT, Stanford, and others.

About Me

After high school, Meri attended CSUN for her Bachelor’s in Business Law and minor in Writing and Rhetoric, hoping to pursue a law degree and teach the law at a prestigious institution. During her time at CSUN, Meri was actively involved in the executive board of the Pre-Law Association, acted as the Co-Founder and President of CSUN’s Hidden Road Initiative, active debater in CSUN’s Speech & Debate team, a nominee for the CSU Board of Trustees, and a member of the AS Leadership Lobby Corps. During her sophomore year, Meri also worked full-time at a personal injury law firm, where she realized that she was in love with learning the law, not practicing it. Hence, Meri began helping numerous students apply to universities merely out of her desire to give back to her community. When she realized that every student she'd helped had gotten into their top school - UCLA, USC Gould School of Law, UCLA School of Law, and more - she knew she could make a difference by helping more students, ultimately creating College Who Consulting to demystify the college application process for students like herself.
