My Background
I am a life-long educator and hold a master's degree in education from Harvard University's Graduate School of Education and an A.B. from Princeton University. In addition, I am a certified teacher in MA and NJ and have been working as a college counselor since 2011.

About Me

My Experience
I have 10 years experience in college admissions work as an admissions reader for both MIT and Wellesley College. In these positions, I participated in all aspects of the admissions process from reading and evaluating applications to participating in the committees that rendered admissions decisions. My work as a college counselor began at a small counseling company in Hingham, MA and I now maintain my own practice. I am a member of NACAC (National Association for College Admissions Counseling) and NEACAC (New England Association for College Admission Counseling) and abide by the NACAC code of ethics and professional practices.

Working with Athletes
In addition to helping students find the right academic and cultural fit, I have worked with a variety of student-athletes (rowing, soccer, lacrosse, swimming) looking to play at the varsity level in college. As a former collegiate national champion and U.S. National Team member in rowing, I understand the importance of finding the right program and navigating the process for athletes as they commit to a collegiate sport.
