About Me
Lesley Brophy began her career in communications as a freelance writer and editor, and spent several years as Student Media Adviser at the University of Denver, overseeing the student newspaper and yearbook. She holds a B.A. in English from Dartmouth and an M.A. in Communication from Stanford.
A voracious reader especially drawn to memoirs and debut novels, Lesley loves the art of storytelling — which is exactly why she enjoys helping students craft their application essays. She's an adoption counselor at the Denver Animal Shelter and serves on the Denver Animal Protection Advisory Committee, and enjoys hiking, word games, tennis, and pickleball with her husband, whose two grown children live in Denver.
