About Me

With 9 years and over 2,500 hours of consulting, classroom teaching and one-on-one tutoring experience, I am an expert in my field. . I have guided many students to gain admittance to their top choice schools, including Stanford, MIT, Columbia, Johns Hopkins, UPenn, Carnegie Mellon, and UC Berkeley. I have helped dozens of students achieve perfect scores on the SAT and ACT Reading and English sections, and many more score in the 90th percentile

Before moving to private tutoring and consulting, I served as an Educational Director for an academic enrichment and test prep company. In addition to teaching classes, tutoring, and providing college application mentoring, I wrote language arts curriculum and practice test material.

I hold a Bachelors of Arts in English and a Bachelors of Science in Society & Environment from the University of California, Berkeley, where I graduated in the top 3%. I also hold a Masters in Teaching from the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares.
