A former Associate Principal at an IB World School, Melanie built Level Up College Consulting on 21 years supporting students across all backgrounds.

About Me

Melanie Meyer discovered her love of teaching and coaching early — whether tutoring a friend in math or staying after practice to help a teammate — which made becoming a teacher a natural choice. She earned her degree in Kinesiology with a Biology teaching field from St. Edward's University, then her M.Ed. in Administration from Texas State while teaching, coaching, and taking graduate classes simultaneously.

Melanie spent years as Associate Principal at Liberal Arts and Science Academy High School in Austin before becoming Assistant Principal at Leander High School, an IB World School, working with students from all walks of life. Over 21 years across multiple roles, she's helped countless students navigate the challenges of high school and prepare for the next level — the inspiration behind Level Up College Consulting.
