With over 10 years of experience in college admissions, Henry specializes in guiding STEM students, particularly those pursuing Computer Science/Engineering and Biology/Pre-Med, as well as students interested in Business and Economics. Henry has helped students gain admission to the most selective universities such as MIT, Caltech, Stanford, Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Cornell, Brown, UC Berkeley, UCLA, and many others.

About Me

Henry has extensive consulting experience working with high school students to customize and achieve their pursuit of higher education, academic excellence, and personal development. He helps students learn about themselves, establish confidence, and pursue their passions. He believes the best way to help students is to treat them with patience, care, and love. He also believes each student must have a plan to succeed.

Henry earned a B.A. in Molecular and Cell Biology (Neurobiology Emphasis) from UC Berkeley and an M.S. in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. Before joining ILUMIN, he served as a Senior Education Consultant at the Bay Area's largest education consulting firm, where he was recognized as Consultant of the Year in 2017. Henry also has prior experience working as an academic advisor for several prestigious college admissions consulting firms in China. Fluent in both English and Chinese, Henry brings a global perspective to his students.
