I am Co-Founder and Principal in the College Consulting Collaborative, www.collegeLD.com. We are a national firm, with offices in the DC Metro area, Charleston and San Francisco. We specialize in college preparation, planning and placement for students with learning disabilities, ADHD, non-verbal learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders, among others. Our focus is not only to provide students with a college list, but also to help them develop their academic and college-readiness skills. We are also experienced in helping families with gap year and post-graduate options. We spend at least 30% of our time visiting colleges and universities throughout the country, interviewing the staff of the Offices of Disability to be sure the services meet the needs of our students. About Me

Kyle is a passionate and caring mentor of students with learning differences. She believes that every student should have the opportunity to go to college no matter their challenges and that, given the right guidance, students will thrive in a college that matches their strengths and needs. She works in a holistic manner to ensure each student is ready to make the transition to college.

Kyle is a former private practice attorney and law professor. She first came to the consulting world by volunteering to work on the college process with first generation students at her local high school. She trained to be a college consultant at the Summer Training Institute, offered by the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA). Kyle has earned Professional status within IECA and carries the Learning Disability specialty designation. In addition to her work with students, she also trains other consultants, gives presentations throughout the country and publishes articles on the college process for students with learning differences. She is a past Chair of the Learning Disabilities Committee of IECA and remains active in the association.

Kyle earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Miami University of Ohio and a JD degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law.
