A former Iowa Review editorial assistant, Tony's essay students have earned scholarships at Harvard, Yale, MIT, and beyond; he's also writing a book on surf culture.

About Me

Tony Andrews has served as an editorial assistant for The Iowa Review and an assistant editor for the London Review of Books. His college essay students have gone on to Harvard, Yale, Stanford, MIT, Penn, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, WashU, Duke, Michigan, Georgetown, NYU, Rice, and UCLA — many with significant scholarships. Tony is also a regular contributor to The Surfer's Journal and is currently writing a book about the art and culture of surfing; he's represented by Creative Artists Agency.
