About Me

Austin Lee graduated from Stanford with a Bachelor's in History and earned his Master's in Education from USC, where he also spent three years as an Academic Counselor for varsity student-athletes. After two years in athletic administration at Harvard, he returned to Stanford, where he led the academic advising team for varsity athletes for five years, directed student services for six, and spent two years working closely with the Office of Admission on the varsity student-athlete application process — plus a year as a seasonal reader for the undergraduate Class of 2025.

As an undergraduate, Austin was a four-year letter winner on Stanford's football team, playing in the 2000 Rose Bowl, and later spent a season on the San Francisco 49ers' practice squad. He met his wife, Ellen, at Stanford — a two-time Olympic medalist and co-captain of Stanford's first NCAA Women's Water Polo Championship team — and the couple have two children.
