Kristen Pandhi has a passion for teaching writing and has taught middle and high school English for 15 years. She loves Bumo's positive approach to coaching students and is ready to help each writer's personality shine through.

About Me

As a professional application reader for The California Institute of Technology (CalTech), Kristen has a unique perspective on the current educational landscape. During the 2022 and 2023 decision years, she read thousands of applications submitted from countries all around the world. Kristen began her own college journey at Vanguard University of Southern California, which she attended on a combined basketball and academic scholarship. She then transferred to the University of California, Davis, earning a B.A. in English, Teaching Credential, and a Master’s degree in Education.
