About Me

Wendy Tilford believes education opens doors of opportunity, working daily to give families the resources and strategies that build a foundation for lifelong learning. After years in public policy, her transition into education felt like a natural progression — her passion for leadership and business savvy caught the attention of the country's leading tutoring and test prep corporation, which invited her to serve on its Franchise Advisory Council and later as president of its Greater Houston Co-op.

Wendy is an Associate member of IECA and a member of NACAC and the Texas Association for College Admissions Counseling. She sits on the Texas Advisory Board of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, represents eight schools on Houston ISD's Shared Decision-Making Committee, and has served on the boards of iWrite Literacy Organization and the Barbara Bush Literacy Foundation. As a mother herself, her drive to help families succeed is rooted deeply in her love of family.
