A licensed social worker with a UCLA college counseling certification, Hilary uses humor and steady emotional support to help students stay grounded through a stressful process.

About Me

Hilary Lefitz brings humor and lightness to a process that can otherwise feel overwhelming, helping students stay relaxed and engaged while still hitting every milestone along the way. She's attentive to the stress that can build up around college decisions, and works to make sure each student has real support before, during, and after the transition to college.

Hilary holds a master's degree in Social Work from USC, an undergraduate degree in Psychology from San Francisco State, and a College Counseling Certification from UCLA. Before moving into college advising, she worked as a nonprofit executive overseeing support services for grieving families. She's an associate member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), tours colleges annually to stay current, and draws on years of real-world experience working with a wide range of students and families.
