About Me
Malinda Schantz loves researching and staying current on college admissions practices, visiting colleges every year and connecting with admissions officers alongside regular webinars and conferences. She holds the Independent Educational Consultant Certificate from UC Irvine and completed IECA's Summer Training Institute.
Malinda holds a Master of Science in Library and Information Science from Simmons University, a Master of Arts in Musicology from Rutgers, and a Bachelor of Arts from Meredith College, with a career spanning over 20 years in music education, a librarian role at Harvard, and time in the airline industry. As a parent who's personally guided her own two children through admissions — her daughter now a college senior, her son a pilot captain — she brings genuine firsthand understanding, and enjoys reading, tennis, cooking, and travel in her free time.
