About Me

Shreya (Sona) Nuguri is currently a medical student at OUHSC. Although born in India, she has spent every other living moment in OKC, Oklahoma. At the University of Oklahoma, she pursued a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Microbiology, graduating with Honors. During her undergraduate studies, she exclusively worked at OU Writing Center and thoroughly enjoys helping students with their academic goals. She also has a special interest in healthcare business consulting and was paired up with 5+ business companies to offer real-world solutions to drive organizations forward. Growing up, she was an avid dancer and still practices multiple forms today including teaching Zumba. Her current goals are to specialize in a surgical specialty at a well-known academic center and to serve on admission committees/ teaching faculty for medical students and residents.
