About Me
Dr. Renee C. Meeks is an educator, mentor, and public speaker with over 20 years of experience spanning classroom instruction, school leadership, and nonprofit educational outreach. She holds a Bachelor's in English from the University of Memphis, a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction from Freed-Hardeman University, and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
Dr. Meeks has been recognized as an ASCD Emerging Leader (2015), Health Physical Education & Lifetime Wellness Principal of the Year (2016), recipient of the Robert Terrell Caring and Compassion Educator Principal of the Year Award (2017), and a Shelby County Schools Principal of the Year nominee (2019). She believes relationships are everything, and that schools should be safe, nurturing places where students and adults alike grow and flourish.
