About Me
Megan Figarella earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social and Behavioral Sciences from Seton Hall University, where she played Division I soccer — an experience she credits with shaping her educational journey. She went on to earn a Master of Science in School Counseling from Old Dominion University and holds PreK-12 School Counselor certification in Florida.
Megan has worked as a school counselor for over ten years across elementary and high school settings, the last seven in Lakeland, Florida, taking a holistic approach that addresses students' academic, career, and personal needs. Her former students have gained admission to schools including the University of Florida, NYU, Columbia, Yale, and Brown. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, playing sports, kayaking, and spending time with her husband and three children.
