bio

I have advised 300+ students to help them identify their best-fit universities across the US, UK, Canada and Europe. Based out of London, I divide my time working at at Latymer Upper School, where I head the international university advising program and Avid Education Advisors, a boutique higher educational consultancy, where I am a partner and lead counsellor.

I specialise in working with international and third-culture students /families who are often considering universities across multiple destinations. My approach to counselling is personalised, hands-on and collaborative. I meet students where they are in this journey with the goal of guiding them toward their best-fit programs and universities.

I am an active member of professional associations like the International IACAC and IECA, where I sit on the Global Committee, as well as the London Schools Counsellor Network and London Area College Counselling Group. I have a Certificate in College Counselling from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) and MSc in Politics and Communications from the LSE where I graduated with distinction. I completed my BA in International Relations from Tufts University and a post-graduate diploma in Media Law from NALSAR, India. These diverse academic experiences have given me a unique, first-hand perspective into different higher education landscapes.

About Me

I set up an independent education counseling practice alongside my career in communications back in 2014. Since then, I have worked with over 150 students to help them identify their best-fit universities across the US, UK, Canada and Europe. Based out of London, I now divide my time between Avid Education and Latymer Upper School, where I am Assistant Head of International University Advising.
My own perspective of the higher education landscape has been shaped by diverse experiences across three continents. I graduated cum laude from Tufts University with a BA in International Relations and Sociology, during which I spent a year at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) as part of the Tufts study abroad program. During this time, I worked as a Peer Advisor at the Tufts Career Centre, where I helped students to craft their resumes and cover letters as well as prepare for interviews. I also graduated with a Distinction from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) where I earned an MSc in Politics and Communications and hold a post-graduate diploma in Media Law from the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Research (NALSAR). I am currently completing my Certificate in College Counseling from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).

Prior to my work in education counseling, I worked as a communication consultant in London, Dubai and New Delhi advising companies like Mastercard, Virgin Group and Estee Lauder Companies as well as high net-worth individuals and government representatives on how to build, promote and protect their brand. I enjoy channeling these skills into my work as I can help students to create compelling narratives and identify their strengths and interests in order to build an application and personal brand that truly reflects their potential.
