About Me

Originally from New York, Dr. Ruzicka currently resides in South Carolina and has over 25 years of combined experience advising students and families through the college process. She has worked in financial aid, admissions, academic advising, career development and program development in the college environment. She has also served as the Director of College and Academic Planning at a private K-12 school where she taught students about the college search and admissions process, counseled students on the importance of a choosing a rigorous course load as well as how to choose a major, best stand out to colleges, write a strong college essay and create a resume. Dr. Ruzicka has a deep passion for helping students and their families through the transition from high school to college as well as guiding them in choosing the best college, major and career path fit for them.
