About Me

Pam Shor graduated from Kenyon College with a Bachelor of Science and holds an Educational Consulting Certificate from UC Irvine, and is a proud member of HECA and PNACAC. Before working with college-bound students, she developed award-winning educational multimedia software for Microsoft (including Dinosaurs — she can more than hold her own with an 8-year-old on T-Rex facts) and produced programming for KING-TV, including documentaries and children's shows. Earlier in her career, she worked with gifted students through the University of Virginia's School of Education.

Pam's background in educational psychology and media production shapes her belief that today's applications are as much about a compelling, well-produced narrative as they are academics — and she finds real joy in helping students discover and tell their own inspiring story.
