bio

I advocate for my students and issues of social justice, healthcare, education and the arts. I am a theatre artist, a scholar, a teacher and a mentor. I direct and, occasionally, act. My academic interests lie at the intersection of art, politics, and science. I serve in leadership roles at several non-profits.

About Me

I tutor students privately. I have taught a home-school curriculum of Algebra 2 for a high school sophomore with special needs, as well as tutoring her in chemistry, history and English. I also teach studies skills, writing, public speaking, and theatre appreciation. I offer general homework help, including math through geometry. I also edit everything from eighth-grade book reports to manuscripts about to be published.
