About Me
Marjori Bergman approaches the university admissions process with optimism, passion, and empathy, helping students recognize their own strengths and gain confidence in their authentic voice — something highly selective schools genuinely look for but that doesn't come naturally to most applicants.
Marjori discovered her passion for admissions counseling in 2016 while volunteering with an organization supporting inner-city youth, later earning a certificate in college counseling with distinction from UC San Diego and partnering with established firms specializing in student-athlete and international admissions. She's a graduate of Syracuse's Newhouse School with a master's in Public Policy and Economics from Georgetown, and also owns Ignite Global Consulting, a corporate strategy firm working with Fortune 1000 companies — expertise she brings directly into her admissions work. She visits at least 25 college campuses a year to meet with admissions and financial aid officers, and lives between the U.S. and Trinidad & Tobago with her husband, following M*Power's adherence to IECA's Principles of Good Practice.
