A founding First-Year Success Center Director at the University of New Haven, Felecia now blends K-12 and higher-ed experience in her practice.

About Me

Felecia Edwards-Smith set out to become the college admissions consultant she wishes her own family had had while navigating the overwhelming admissions process. With 11 years in higher education spanning admissions, retention, academic advising, and student success, she was the founding Director of a First-Year Success Center at the University of New Haven, later directing the Student Success Center for the College of Science and Mathematics.

Felecia later moved into K-12 work to support students earlier in their educational journey, helping build college and career awareness that connects students' interests to real options and future goals. She now offers a student-centered, collaborative process — helping students identify their strengths, reflect on what matters most in a college, find scholarships, and move confidently through each step, all the way through matriculation. Outside of work, she enjoys sports, reading, and time outdoors with her family and children, Elijah, Noah, and Amaya.
