About Me
Hannah Deisinger founded Build Brilliant in January 2024, drawing on her background as a former public high school counselor and Assistant Director of Admissions at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. A graduate of Brandeis University with a Master's in Professional School Counseling from Sage Graduate School, she saw firsthand as a school counselor how much stress surrounded the college process — and how often even high-achieving students lacked the executive functioning skills to navigate it confidently.
As someone who has ADHD herself, Hannah is especially passionate about helping students tune into their own strengths, build stronger executive functioning skills, and feel genuinely empowered throughout their college application journey. Build Brilliant is her extension of that mission — creating a supportive space where teens can build real skills, not just check boxes, on the way to college.
