A Princeton grad who co-founded a digital mental health company acquired by Sharecare, Josh brings deep financial planning insight to college admissions.

About Me

Having faced the challenges of college fit and preparation firsthand as a Princeton undergraduate, Josh Roman is passionate about helping students not just get into college, but genuinely thrive once they're there. Before founding College Journey, he co-founded MindSciences, a digital mental health company later acquired by Sharecare that helped hundreds of thousands manage stress and anxiety, and helped create some of the first 529 college savings plans at Upromise, giving him deep insight into the financial side of college planning.

A father of a high schooler himself and co-founder of Mindshift Recovery, a nonprofit supporting people affected by addiction, Josh brings both professional expertise and personal understanding to guiding families through the path to college. He lives on Massachusetts' South Shore with his wife, son, two dogs, and two cats.
