About Me

Katharine Johnson began her career in educational publishing at McGraw-Hill, spending 15 years across publishing, finance, and strategic planning in New York City, Singapore, and Berkeley. She started college at Boston University before transferring to Cornell, where she graduated with Distinction in All Subjects as a history major, later earning her MBA there as well, and completed UC Berkeley's College Admissions and Career Planning certificate in 2017.

After settling in Novato and raising her two daughters, Katharine discovered her true calling while helping her daughter Sarah navigate the college search — having struggled to find the right fit herself, she was determined to help her own daughter find a great, affordable match. She brings that same commitment to every family she works with, building a personalized "Ideal College Profile" to guide a thoughtful, affordable college list.
