About Me

Cynthia Simpson-Obioha brings extensive experience across South Carolina's public and private schools, having served as a classroom teacher, high school counselor, senior class counselor, Director of Guidance and Counseling, and Associate Director of College Counseling. Her practice remains firmly student-centered, built on authenticity, professionalism, and mutual respect with students, families, and colleagues.

Cynthia's students have earned admission to two- and four-year colleges nationwide, including HBCUs, Ivy League schools, and the Service Academies, and she remains just as passionate about the work today as when she started — believing that thorough preparation is the best graduation gift a student can receive as they head toward their best-fit college.
