Capstone College Consulting provides 1-on-1 advisement for the college application process that is comprehensive, structured, organized, and uniquely tailored to the individual needs and interests of students and their families. Time and attention are devoted to helping students discover and apply to colleges that fit them best personally, socially, and academically.

About Me

Having served as a classroom teacher, high school counselor, senior class counselor, Director of Guidance and Counseling, and Associate Director of College Counseling, I am an educator with extensive experience working in the public and private schools of South Carolina. My strong desire to help young people realize their potential and reach their goals has only become stronger over time. The core of my practice remains a student-centered approach and a rapport with students, families, and colleagues that is built on authenticity, professionalism, finding common goals and mutual respect.



Since the outset of my career, I have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside students and families through the college application process, and I am just as excited about the work today as I was when I began. It is always a thrill to help students and families dissect the college process, exploring to find their best fit among the myriad of post-secondary options available. My students have earned admission to two- and four-year public and private colleges across the country to include HBCUs, the Ivies, the Service Academies, and many other selective colleges and universities.



To graduate from high school, year twelve, fully prepared for year thirteen is the best graduation gift a student can have. It happens with preparation. I am excited to provide you with programming that will help you make informed decisions as you journey through the college admissions process and choose the college that is your best fit!
