A UPenn Biology grad, Wendy transitioned from pharmaceutical research into college counseling for Vermont families.

About Me

Wendy Wiseberg earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania and built a long career in pharmaceutical research while balancing family life. She stayed connected to Penn as an active alumna interviewing high school seniors applying to college — work that revealed her real passion for helping students, leading her to earn her college counseling certificate from UCLA.

A member of NACAC, Wendy now works with students in Burlington and Shelburne, Vermont, using what she calls her WISE Approach: connecting with overwhelmed families, reviewing comprehensive intake questionnaires, and reassuring every student that there's a fit out there for them. She builds a clear timeline for research, testing, and applications, with regular one-on-one meetings to see students through to completion, and works to keep the process genuinely affordable.
