Prior to establishing Pave the Way Consulting, I served many educational roles: career programs manager at College of Marin; college & career counselor at Marin County high schools; high school-to-college transition consultant; pre-college programs coordinator at Sonoma State University; and, curriculum director at a private school.

About Me

With a masters degree in education and a specialized certificate in College Counseling from UC Irvine, I am well trained and deeply committed to guiding students on their transformative academic and career journeys.

Over the years, I have had the privilege of assisting students with diverse academic and extracurricular interests, which has served to elevate my expertise in navigating the college search and application process. Prior to my career in education, I was a newspaper reporter, a PR specialist and owner of a small writing and marketing business while raising young children.

My personal success story is reflected in my two grown children, each of whom enjoyed successful, exciting and rewarding college experiences. I find joy in an active lifestyle, with pursuits such as biking, hiking, yoga and gardening. My experiences, both professionally and personally, position me to offer invaluable insights and guidance to students and families navigating the landscape of higher education.
