About Me
Prior to starting Dogwood College Consulting, I spent eight years working with college students at the University of Virginia, Duke University, and UNC-Chapel Hill. Most recently, I was on staff with the Robertson Scholars Leadership Program, one of the country’s premier merit-scholarships.
During my time in higher education, I executed a values-based decision making model and saw first hand how impactful it was for students during the college application and decision process. I knew more students could use this values-based framework to assist them in finding success in the college process. I love working with high school and college aged students and wanted to bring this comprehensive approach to benefit additional students.
I grew up in the Triangle area (go Athens Jaguars!) and am thrilled to be serving the amazing families of this community. While the idea of a values-based decision process may be new to you, this is a process I have been perfecting for nearly a decade. In that time I have:
-mentored 400+ students.
-read 2500+ applications.
-conducted 300+ admission interviews.
I attended the University of Virginia, where I was on the Varsity Swim Team. I also received my M.Ed in Higher Education and Student Affairs from UVA. I’m living my dream life (most days) being mom to three boys: TJ, Mack, and Wills. My husband, Tom, and our dog, Cav, complete “Team Keller” in Apex, NC. I am excited to get to know you and your “team” soon!
