About Me
Jo Leonard has a signature way of getting to know clients: she draws a circle with your name inside it, then maps out spokes as you talk through your goals, dreams, and frustrations — a visual brainstorming method that's made her a go-to coach for teens, 20-somethings, and mid-career professionals for over 21 years.
Educated in both the U.S. and the U.K., Jo credits that dual cultural experience — and a first job at age 10 serving tea in her family's hotel — with shaping the instincts that guided her career. She's especially passionate about working with people in career transition, drawing on ideas from Daniel Pink's Drive about our deep need for autonomy and self-direction. Jo has trained and coached Fulbright Scholars, TED speakers, university business students, and student leaders, and speaks widely on personal branding, social media, and job search skills for young adults navigating life after school.
