About Me

Julia Nemunaitis is an integral part of Avalon's advisory team, providing operational and student management support alongside working directly with students on essays, resumes, applications, and activity planning. She brings over a decade of experience with students of all ages across teaching, tutoring, and coaching, having earned her B.A. in Communications & Public Relations from Virginia Tech and built an early career in marketing at Philip Morris and Altria.

Julia's warm, patient, and creative approach helps students feel at ease throughout the admissions process. Outside of work, she spends time with her two daughters (one now beginning her own college search), her husband, and their household menagerie of pets, and enjoys reading, crafting, and family movie nights.
