About Me
Janae Aiken serves as Associate Director of College Access, holding a Bachelor's in English Education and History from UNC Pembroke and a Master's in Creative Business Leadership from SCAD. She spent nine years teaching high school English with Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools and coaching soccer, taking on leadership roles that let her build curriculum, foster community partnerships, and support student success toward college and career.
Janae is passionate about creating experiences that expose students to resources and opportunities with lasting impact. Outside of work, she curates music playlists, practices film photography, writes poetry, bakes, and enjoys live concerts and sporting events.
