About Me

My experience in K-12 and college level teaching, educational writing and research, and college admissions gives me a unique skill set as a college and career coach. As a parent of both a high schooler and a college student, I understand the importance of balancing support and independence in college planning.



Holding an MA in Education from UCLA, a California teaching credential, and a graduate certificate in College Admissions and Career Counseling from UC Berkeley, I am committed to continuous growth, investing over 400 hours annually in professional development through conferences, webinars, college visits, and active engagement with professional communities. I am a certified WOW essay coach, hold a professional certificate in International University Admissions and am a seasonal UC admissions reader. I’m an active member of Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA), and NCAG (National College Affordability Group). In addition to working with private clients in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, I volunteer through the Matchlighter Scholars Program to support underserved students through the college application process.
