About Me
Ann Bartron Morris comes to this work with a genuinely personal stake in every side of the college equation. After years at a Bay Area nonprofit funding education and college-success organizations, she was struck by the gap between her own children's college process and the lack of resources available to equally deserving, underserved students — a realization that led her to a position in UC Berkeley's undergraduate admissions office, holistically reading thousands of applications.
After completing Cal's highly regarded College and Career Counseling Program, Ann now works with students of all backgrounds, with particular pride in supporting first-generation, underserved high school seniors in San Francisco and Marin counties. A product of public high school in Southern California, she holds a BA from Brown, an MBA from UCLA, and a college counseling certificate from UC Berkeley. When she's not working, she's hiking the Presidio or Land's End, or walking her Wirehaired Pointing Griffon, Scotch, at Baker Beach.
