About Me
Claire Drucker holds a Certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from UC Berkeley Extension and has helped juniors, seniors, and transfer students navigate the college process from start to finish. She describes her superpower as how she relates to young people — a compassionate approach combined with real understanding of adolescence that lets her serve as a genuine ally through the process.
An English Professor at Santa Rosa Junior College for 27 years, Claire also works as an Educational Coach at an independent high school, helping students build reading, writing, and executive functioning skills. As a parent who's helped her own daughter through the college search, she holds a Bachelor's in English Literature from the University of Virginia and an MFA in Writing and Poetics from Naropa University, plus additional coursework in Education Therapy from Holy Names University — all in service of turning the admissions process into a journey of growth rather than a burden.
