About Me
Osman Khan's own path took an unexpected turn when he was expelled from Purdue's mechanical engineering program in his final semester — an experience that led to his readmission in an interdisciplinary major and a deep sense of gratitude for a second chance. He went on to earn a dual MMH/MBA from Cornell's hotel and business schools, then sharpened his storytelling skills in brand management at SC Johnson and MGM Resorts, and later in management consulting at Accenture and PwC.
Osman has been an admissions coach for over two decades, using a design-thinking framework to help students plan their own "moonshot" and embrace why their imperfect stories matter. He enjoys painting Arabic calligraphy with his wife, playing lacrosse, football, and baseball with his sons, and coaching students on storytelling and branding for their college essays.
