About Me

Tatum Hutton, a Harvard graduate in psychology with a focus on neuroscience, became a certified teacher and taught in both private and public high schools before designing and managing two gifted programs that have since become models used nationwide. She went on to found Custom Academics, LLC, home to both College Time Now and Tutor Time Now.

Through College Time Now, Tatum has helped hundreds of students gain admission to schools like Cornell and Brown — though her real focus is finding the school where each individual student will thrive, not just the most prestigious name. Since 2009, over 99% of her clients have graduated on time from the school they started at. She holds a Certificate in College Admissions and Career Planning from Berkeley (2014), built on 200+ hours of instruction and visits to more than 50 college campuses, and builds a fully custom package for each student covering college selection, essay coaching, interview prep, and financial aid guidance. She's an active member of NACAC, WACAC, HECA, and the Harvard Club of San Francisco.
