About Me

Sofia Blake, founder of Studio SB, knows firsthand the power of finding motivation and direction — having navigated her own period of uncertainty about who she was and what she wanted. Studio SB's programs reflect years of helping students find their core strengths, work through challenges, and prepare for success in college and beyond.

Sofia is an essay coach for College Essay Guy, author of the book Journeys of the Heart, and founder of the Padi Internship Program along with several other educational and entrepreneurship initiatives. She holds a B.A. from Brown, an M.A. in Political Science from L'Institut des Sciences Politiques, and an MSFS from Georgetown. Originally from Bulgaria, she's lived in Tunisia, India, Sri Lanka, and Indonesia, and now enjoys time with her three daughters and husband, travel with friends, and building daily mindfulness practices.
