A Colorado educator for over 20 years, JoAllan moved into full-time college counseling with Antonoff Associates after volunteering at her local high school.

About Me

JoAllan Gehde felt a calling to teach from an early age, once gathering her dolls, younger brother, and neighborhood friends for impromptu lessons drawn from her own school day. She earned a BA in Communication and an M.Ed. in Secondary English Curriculum and Instruction from Colorado State and the University of Colorado, Denver, going on to a 20+ year career as a classroom teacher and service learning coordinator.

Volunteer work helping students with post-secondary plans at East High School inspired JoAllan to move into college counseling full-time, earning her Independent Educational Consultant certificate from UC Irvine. As an IEC with Antonoff Associates, Inc., she now works closely with families to guide them toward futures built around their own unique goals.
