About Me

As the former Director of Admission at Wellesley College, Associate Director of Admission at Brown University, and college-readiness consultant to schools and districts, Heather Ayres brings a wealth of knowledge to her consultancy. Heather’s expertise comes not only from evaluating applications and managing admission selection, but also from applying her extensive knowledge of admission and financial aid practices to advise students from wide-ranging growing up experiences, and their supporters.

With 30+ years of experience as an educator, Heather has dedicated her career to teaching and mentoring high school and college students. At the collegiate level she has held roles as an academic dean, advisor to first-year students and student-athletes, instructor, and career mentor to college juniors. At the secondary level she has held positions as an English teacher, college advisor, and consultant to school counseling teams in data-informed college and career program development.
